March 16, 2023: Strange Astrological Zones

I use this phrase quite often, particularly when I’m having an up and down day. Up and down days usually involve numerous people. I don’t want to think too hard about what strange astrological zones means because if I do, there is the likelihood that it I will see it as being nonsensical. Then again, maybe not.

Astrological and astrology are synonymous terms. Everyone’s astrological chart is different and dependent upon one’s month, date, and time of birth. So it stands to reason that my month, date,

and time of birth might be affected by celestial happenstance. Beyond this, I am not qualified to speak.

I do know that there are days like today in which things happen that are not in the norm. I do believe that how I handle them are related to self-perception and dependent upon outcome.

For instance –
. . . I had this idea that perhaps the BLBP Board should pursue raising funds and purchasing the Profiles of Excellence building. Over breakfast, Pete and I weighed the pros and cons of this. I finally said that we should talk with Tom, our realtor friend. We meaning Pete. But then I decided to do this myself. Tom’s thought was that we should write a letter to the property realtor spelling out what we want and what our financial situation MIGHT be – after we get some funding. Idea tabled. . . .
El (sister) suggested that I email Maureen Dowd who is a columnist for the NT Times and see if she’s interested in talking further with us about our project. Idea to be acted upon, shortly.

. . . I talked for some time with my friend Sharon about the project – she had a lot of good ideas, one of which involves sending books to Nigeria. Gulp. To do this, we’d have get international nonprofit status. Gulp. Idea temporarily tabled.

. . . I was in the downstairs area of the Meeting house, talking with Sharon, and as we were coming up the stairs, heard someone upstairs. As I was entering the building, a guy walked in the direction of the exit. He had a book in his hand. I told him to get out of the building and to give me the book. He said something about the book containing government secrets, tossed it at me, and ran out of the building. Upon Sharon’s suggestion I called the Palmer police. An officer appeared at the Meeting House door moments later. Sharon and I told him what had happened – the police officer called another officer – they found the guy. As I understood it, he was told that he’d be in big trouble if set foot on Meeting House property again. I was asked if I wanted a restraining order (my words) to go into effect. I said yes. Idea acted upon.

Tracy K, who works for the Mat-Su Health Foundation appeared on the Meeting House doorstep with a carload of books. She is our MSHF contact. She said she’s busy now, but to contact her April 12, when she’s less busy. Idea will be acted upon.

Being in a strange astrological zone is a good thing, but I would not want this to occur every single day.
